Any child recognizes their power to create. Most even realize the power to mold their own destinies. Children know when they’ve done something “wrong”, even when they’re doing it in most cases. They also know the “destiny” that awaits them in the form of dad coming home from work!  Perhaps they do not know the particulars, but they get the basic idea.

Somewhere along the way, someone or something talked most of us out of the idea that we have anything to do with our destiny, let alone that we can manifest our moments, literally creating our destiny by existing fully within the moments we are given and making the most out of them.

To some, this sounds as if one is trying to “play God”…but this is not true. Instead, I believe that we are called by existence itself to manage our lives and our destiny through the application of powerful, truthful thinking that inspires consistent, Core-motivated action.

That was a long sentence, but an important one. Let’s break it down.

M-Power is founded on the Principle of Core Ethics ™. This applies to your body, mind, relationships…you name it.

Core Ethics is a combination of three crucial and universal truths:

1. Truth
2. Responsibility
3. Abundance

More specifically, truthful thinking, ruthless responsibility, and flowing abundance. These are the key distinctions within my key distinctions!

All three of these distinctions are covered heavily in M-Power, but for today I’d like to give you some broad-stroke truths to apply in the art of manifesting your moments.

First, by thinking truthfully (as opposed to “positively” or “irrationally”), one can see that words become our world. James Allen took a passage from the Bible to clarify this in his book, “As A Man Thinketh.” What we think produces a conversation with our self — the most important of all conversations, as it’s by far the longest. This produces the words we say to ourselves and to others. These words are either based in truth or based in fiction.

Saying, “I’m going to die if I don’t get some ice cream” is, of course, utter fiction. Yet most people use this type of language all the time. The opposite is the “positive thinking” camp — the ones who look in the mirror and say, “I’m fit, and I’m beautiful!” when they’re not…and they’re not!

The alternative, and the way to begin manifesting your destiny in the moment, rather than in some far away, mystical “someday”, is to say this:

“I am in the process of learning what I need to know in order to become more fit, healthy and attractive every day of my life.”

This is not a false statement if you are so much as reading this article!

Remember this scientific fact:  any form of energy that is non-truth creates dissonance, and dissonance remodels cellular structure. That sounds kinda complex, but all I’m saying is this:

You lie, you die.

Really.

Photographs of water prove this point. Saying things that are not true to the speaker changes the structure of water molecules. Speaking words of hate do the same. You are programmed to live in harmony with yourself, and the language we use on a daily basis is often the opposite of harmony. It is the creation of dissonance. And we wonder why we have all this mental and physical disease in our world!

Your very cells scream out, “Take responsibility!” Speak in truth, both out loud and to yourself, and watch what happens.

This level of accountability to yourself will produce flowing abundance, or wealth in every area of your life that flows outward rather than remains bottled up inside of you. “Canning abundance” as I call it is a sure-fire way to total overwhelm in life. You must share it — and by doing so, you reap more.

Become a manifestor of moments;  moments that add up to the time of your life.

Avoid those Five Dreaded Words “I’m Not in the Mood” with Some Libido-Lifting Tips

Tell me if you can relate to the following experience:

A long week of work has finally reached its end.  Sure, the week was difficult, but the main reason for its lengthiness was due to anticipation — anticipation of what the weekend held in store.

All weekends are great.  But this weekend was billed to be WAY above average.  Why? Because you were spending it with your significant other, away from it all, in one of the finest of hotels your city has to offer.  And if a little bit of luck was on your side, it would turn out to be one of the more memorable “experiences” of a lifetime — ahem, if you know what I mean (and I think you do).

Turns out, things didn’t go as planned.  The hotel was great, and the decor was to die for, but The Five Dreaded Words were spoken, the ones that always put the kibosh on a romantic night of lovemaking:  “I’m not in the mood.”

Each one of us have either felt or heard these words spoken before, and whether you’re the giver or the receiver, it’s never pleasant.  Sex is a HUGE part of a relationship, and when opportunities for lovemaking go by the wayside, it frequently diminishes forthcoming opportunities — whether it’s due to fear of the same thing happening again, or the lowering of expectations.

The key, of course, is to have that “motivation” within you at all times so those Five Dreaded Words are never spoken.  Here’s a small helping of ways in which to keep your libido lifted so you can avoid the 5DW :

Diet

Skeptics argue that keeping one’s libido lifted through diet is a self-fulfilling prophecy; in other words, if you think almonds or chocolate will lift your libido, odds are good they will.

But scientific evidence — not psychosomatic hogwash — suggests that certain foods do, indeed, lift one’s libido.  For example, a study from Southwestern University found that coffee beans lift the libido of females.  For men, the love-lifting libation is tea, specifically Damiana tea. Alternative health expert Dr. Sarah Brewer says the ingredient responsible for increasing male libido in this tea is called gonzalitosin.  This ingredient sends a tingling sensation to the penis.

As a man, all I can say is, “Say no more!”

Supplements

Supplementing with vitamins and minerals are, hopefully, a normal part of your daily regimen, but specific supplements provide a great boost to your sex drive.  Take St. John’s Wort as an example.

St. John’s Wort has a multitude of benefits — from improving one’s mood to improving one’s mind — and those benefits can be found in the bedroom.  Because of its mood-improving properties, studies have shown that 60 percent of people formerly uninterested in sex regained their interest after taking St. John’s Wort.

Care for two more?  Try ginseng and gingko biloba on for size (and no, I don’t mean that kind of size).  Ginseng is one of the earliest herbs to be widely marketed in the United States, and it’s taken by millions of people regularly for the natural boost of energy it provides.  So for people whose energy levels leave them pooped time comes for whoopee, ginseng is just the thing.

As for gingko biloba, this oddly-named herb stimulates blood flow throughout the body and brain (which explains why it’s taken by those who have a hard time remembering things).  As blood flow improves its flow throughout the body, it serves as the perfect elixir for those who have a hard time getting a, shall we say, “hard on.”

Research published in the Journal of Sex Education and Therapy found that men who took gingko biloba regularly were able to maintain erections after six months (granted, gingko biloba is not an overnight healer, but the improvement took place, and it took place without the negative side effects that always accompany male impotency drugs).

A low libido may feel like something that’s out of your hands; something that will come back on its own in its own due course.  That may be the case, but more often than not, it can be through our every-day actions and lifestyle.

Dealing with doubt is an important part of achieving true happiness. Doubt prevents many from enjoying the full fruits of happiness and joy. Doubt is uncertainty in the context of trust (where it takes the form of distrust), action, decision or belief. It implies challenging some notion of reality in effect, and may involve hesitating to take a relevant action due to concern that one might be mistaken or at fault. The term ‘ to doubt ‘ can also mean ‘ to question one’s circumstances and life experience ‘.

You can use the last definition as a guiding rule to look at your present life experience in doubt by saying “It doesn’t have to be this way!” You would be right in saying this because we do have the ability to change our circumstances.

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.”

Tons of books have been written over the last 200 thousand years about how you can control and even change your circumstances. The newest one that is well known now is “The Secret”. I recommend this book very highly!

Understanding that we always have an incessant dialogue going on inside our mind, and that it’s normal, is a healthy start. We all have a mind that goes automatically in whatever direction the external stimulus points to. Then it branches off into predetermined or usual paths when expanding on the subject at hand.

For most of us, that usual path is doubt.

It’s important to remind ourselves that the mind is simply an organ much like other organs in the body that runs automatically. As well, like some of the other organs, we can influence its direction.

In dealing with our thought process, we must exercise control and make the effort to direct our thinking in a proper direction or it can have all kinds of negative influences in our physical world.

Sometimes it will seem that you have suffered an irreparable setback. If you’re alive enough to think about it, you haven’t.”

Lots of research has been done proving that our mental states affect our physical bodies directly. Stress can cause sore muscles, headaches, even grey hair!

Conversely positive affirmations have good results on our bodies freeing up our muscular systems, giving us better sleep and there is evidence of far less incidents of disease with mental affirmations and outlooks of a positive nature.

Oddly enough, it goes even further!

Lately books have been written suggestion that our thoughts, feelings and verbiage can actually create our environment! Do you remember the old scripture that says “As you say, so shall it be”? Perhaps there is more truth to this than we first thought.

So let’s look first at what is holding us back.

Have you ever started a day by getting up late? Then unconsciously saying to you “Man this is going to be a lousy day”?

And then it did become a lousy day! Time after time things went wrong. Shower ran out of water, burned your toast, spouse was unhappy about something. Finally got to work (late) to find more of a workload waiting for you. Maybe the secrertary was quitting, or an upset client. Maybe your boss had some negative feedback for your performance the day before and decided today is the day to let you know about it.

There’s an actual term in psychology called “anticipatory anxiety” which says you actually tend to create the thing(s) you are anxious about!

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”

It’s important to realize that thoughts are just thoughts; they don’t make you what you are. Actions do. Plain and simple.

Many times we judge ourselves by our intentions while the world judges us by our actions.

Realizing these thoughts are only that, is our first step. Taking control is the second.

When we hear thoughts of a negative consequence it is actually necessary to fight that thought by saying No, that’s not true. I am a good father, worker, husband (or whatever the case maybe)

The comparison that the mind is like a wild pony that has be placed under the rein and mastered is a good comparison.

Once you get good at it, you will actually hear thoughts as if you are listening to someone speak. This is known as “Second Level Consciousness” This is when you are beginning to hear the mind as it functions and become more in control of the dialogue it renders. As well, you consider what to keep and what to throw away.

An excellent way of conditioning the mind for a more positive output is to begin reading positive books and books about “self help”. There is a book I highly recommend that is simple to read but highly effective in leading a person to true happiness, it’s called “Fastest way to Happiness”.
